OURO PRETO ORCHESTRA AND DIOGO NOGUEIRA

The Instituto Ouro Preto (Ouro Preto Institute) transformed Copacabana Beach into a large open-air stage, where music met the sound of sea waves and the smiles of thousands of people. The event was organized by the V3A team, which promoted a weekend full of attractions. On Saturday, the Ouro Preto Orchestra (OOP) presented “Auto da Compadecida, a Ópera”, based on the literary work of Ariano Suassuna, at one of the main postcards in Brazil.

 

On Sunday, it was samba singer Diogo Nogueira's turn to shine with OOP. Together, they combined cavaquinho and violin to pay a beautiful tribute to the great icons of Brazilian popular music.

 

Sponsored by the Instituto Vale Cultural (Vale Cultural Institute), and aligned with V3A, the event organized by the Instituto Ouro Preto under Federal Law for Cultural Incentive, received between 8 and 10 thousand people who were witnesses of this beautiful new page in the Orchestra's history.
